The Jessica Stuart Few’s playful indie rock could be one of the most charming takes on the genre to come along in some time.
The trio’s jazz-inspired pop songs are anchored by Stuart’s light jazz singing and her Japanese floor harp and rounded out by Dan Fortin on double bass and Nico Dann on drums. Their combined technical abilities and Stuart’s voice keep the trio from fading into the background and the songs set to appear on their upcoming sophomore effort, Two Sides To Every Story, should be able to hold their own on any stage, large or small. Summer may be over, but the breezy songs of The Jessica Stuart Few can get you through a cold winter day just as easily as they can inspire you on a sunny summer morning. Give them a chance and thank us later.
