What: Hard Rock
Where: Summerside, PE
Originally conceived in 2014 as a studio project, Atlantic Canada’s Aron Scott Earthquake has become one of the region’s hard rock torchbearers. Following the release of its self-titled album, the band earned airplay throughout Canada, the U.S., and select overseas markets. After sharing the stage with the likes of April Wine and Finger Eleven in 2017, the band headed back into the studio to track its sophomore effort, Rager, which dropped in 2018. The album and its 11 songs owe a significant debt – both in spirit and in sound – to the likes of Mötley Crüe and Guns N’ Roses. Aron Scott Earthquake’s “here for a good time” ethos might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but for many, the band will serve as a much-needed and high-impact escape from the mundane.
